The focal point of the institute is it's central library with all the necessary facilities. Presently it is equipped with 8116 volumes for 1568 titles of books and 58 Journals & magazines of national and international repute.

While any student may use library materials in the library, borrowing privileges access to the library's electronic resources require students to be registered in the library's circulation database. To register, bring your student identification card to the library check-out desk.
- Books generally circulate for two weeks and can be renewed, if there is no one waiting.
- Periodicals are available for use in the library only.
- Reference materials and current issues of newspapers may be read in the library only.
- Reserve and media materials may be used only in the library.
The Library has a big study rooms for group study. Group study is defined as two or more R.I.T College students simultaneously using the room in an interactive manner. Study rooms are not available for Community Users or visitors. Exceptions may be granted by a librarian or the Library Director.
The R.I.T College Library opened in May 2001. Students and faculty can study or read in a comfortable, quiet environment, while library staff have the materials and tools they need to provide superior support to the college community. |
