PROFILE

Prof. Isaneswar Padhi is the Dean of Roland Institute of Technology. Prof. Padhi has done BSc Engg. (Mechanical Engg) from REC Rourkella in 1970 and M. Tech in Thermal Power from IIT Kharagpur in 1973, subsiquently PhD with Specialization in Thermal Engg from IIT KGP 1988. He began his career as an engineer in Hindustan aeronautics ltd, sunabeda. But he diverted his career to the teaching profession and joined dept. of Mechanical Engg as Lecture at University college of Engg, Burla. After giving his 34 year to teaching retired from UCE Burla as a Prof. in 2008. During his 34 golden years of teaching career, he always has been an admirable and responsible teacher.

MESSAGE

RIT has been founded in the backward regions of South Orissa by visionary academicians Madam J. Jayalaxmi, Dr. J. Surya Rao and Er. P. R. Achari with the sole aim to train the youth in and around Orissa well on the fundamental priniples of different branches of Engineering and Technology alongwith mystical vision of saints and seers so that they can play their important role selflessly in shaping the future of the country with passionate zeal and lead the country on the path of advancement and prosperity making india strong, united and prosperous. I am confident that this Endeavour will bring laurels to the institute and management.
